@palliora.org/chainsdk ships a typed, read-only client for @statescan/indexer, the REST API behind Palliora’s Explorer. Use it for anything you’d otherwise have to reconstruct by scanning blocks yourself: listing published artifacts, checking a contract’s status, pulling a transfer history.
Configuring the client
http://localhost:5020, a local development indexer. There is no independently confirmed public indexer endpoint for Manas at the time of writing, see Network reference for what’s actually confirmed. If you need indexer access without running your own instance, confirm a current URL with the Palliora team rather than assuming one.
Don’t include /api in baseUrl, every path already includes it, a baseUrl ending in /api would produce /api/api/... and 404.

When to use this instead of the network directly
The indexer is for reading history and current state efficiently. It’s not a substitute for the network itself, don’t rely on it to confirm a transaction succeeded in time-sensitive code, query the network directly (scanForBlockEvent, fetchAndDecodeExtrinsic, see SDK Reference) for that instead, the indexer may lag the network’s head by some margin depending on how it’s run.
