# Palliora CLI

`palliora-cli` is a command-line tool for interacting with Palliora: managing accounts and keys, joining the network as a Guardian or Validator, staking, and network storage utilities. It's written in TypeScript and compiled to a single executable, `dist/palliora-cli.js`.

Use `pnpm dev <command>` while developing against a local checkout, or `palliora-cli <command>` once installed.

## Global flags

* `--help`: show help
* `--version`: show CLI version

## Account commands

| Command | Description | Options |
| - | - | - |
| `account-show` | Show local account information | `--secret` (show private key material) |
| `account-create` | Create a new account and save it locally | `--dry` (dry run) |
| `account-import` | Import an account from a private key, mnemonic, or derived seed | `--private-key <hex>`, `--mnemonic`, `--derived`, `--dry` |
| `account-info` | Show the account's recorded details: balances, ledger | |
| `account-remove` | Delete the locally saved account file | |

`--private-key`, `--mnemonic`, and `--derived` are mutually exclusive on `account-import`, pass exactly one.

```bash theme={null}
palliora-cli account-create
palliora-cli account-show
palliora-cli account-import --mnemonic "your seed phrase"
```

`account-show --secret` prints real private key material to your terminal. Treat that output the same way you'd treat any other exposed secret: don't paste it into a chat, a screenshot, or a docs example.

## Fund an account

```bash theme={null}
palliora-cli fund --amount 5000000 --address 5F...
```

`fund` is a developer/test helper. `--amount` defaults to `1000000` and is coerced to a `bigint`; `--address` is the recipient.

## Staking

| Command | Description | Options |
| - | - | - |
| `stake-new` | Create a new stake (bond) | `--amount` (required), `--reward-destination` |
| `stake-add` | Add tokens to an existing stake | `--amount` (required) |
| `stake-reduce` | Unbond part of a stake | `--amount` (required) |
| `stake-remove` | Unbond the entire staked amount | |
| `stake-withdraw` | Withdraw unbonded funds | |

```bash theme={null}
palliora-cli stake-new --amount 1000000
palliora-cli stake-reduce --amount 200000
```

## Joining the network

| Command | Description | Options |
| - | - | - |
| `join-guardian` | Join as a Guardian | `--standard`, `--verifier`, `--compute` (comma list: `trusted,tee,mpc,fhe,zkp`) |
| `join-validator` | Join as a Validator | `--commission` (default `0`) |
| `join-idle` | Join as an idle staker (chill) | |

```bash theme={null}
palliora-cli join-guardian --standard --compute trusted,tee
palliora-cli join-validator --commission 5
```

See [Become a Guardian](https://docs.palliora.org/participate/become-a-guardian.md) and [Become a Validator](https://docs.palliora.org/participate/become-a-validator.md) for the full setup walkthrough around these commands.

## Uploads

`upload-model` and `upload-dataset` exist as commands but their handlers are currently placeholders (`TODO` in the CLI's own source), they don't yet do anything. Use the SDK or Explorer path in [Compute Artifacts: publish and run](https://docs.palliora.org/build/guides/compute-artifacts.md) instead.

## Notes

The CLI uses `milliPALI` units for token amounts internally and coerces values to `bigint`, supply integer values, not decimals.
